These general terms and conditions apply to agreements concluded between Renewpower Ltd. trading under the name
and customers for the supply of solar panels, batteries and inverters.
Renewpower Ltd. is established in Ireland and registered with the Companies Registration Office Number 755726
1. Definitions
1.1 Renewpower Ltd. trading under RenewpowerSystems with its website:
1.2 Customer:
Any natural or legal person or entity who enters into an agreement with Renewpower Ltd.
1.3 Products:
Solar panels, batteries, inverters and any other accessories that Renewpower supplies.
1.4 Agreement:
The purchase agreement between Renewpower and the customer regarding the sale and delivery of products.
1.5 Installation:
Renewpower Ltd. is a wholesale importer distributor of solar products and systems & not an installer of supplied & delivered products.
2. Conclusion of the agreement
2.1 An agreement is concluded as soon as the customer places an order via Renewpower’s webshop, email or by phone or signs a
written quotation and Renewpower confirms this order in writing or digitally.
2.2 The customer has the right to cancel the agreement free of charge until the time of collection or delivery of product.
2.3 Renewpower reserves the right to provide an equivalent or better product in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
3. Price and payment
3.1 All prices stated on the website and in quotations exclude VAT and show VAT separately, unless otherwise indicated.
3.2 The customer must pay the invoice in advance of collection from Renewpower Ltd’s warehouse or in advance of delivery of
product by Renewpower unless trade terms are specifically agreed between Renewpower and the customer generally and / or for
specific transaction(s), which will be stated on Renewpower’s Invoice.
3.3 Renewpower reserves the right to suspend deliveries until full payment has been received.
4. Delivery and installation
4.1 Renewpower delivers the ordered products to the address provided by the customer.
4.2 Installation work is NOT carried out by Renewpower or an authorized installation partner on behalf of Renewpower.
5. Warranty and Liability
5.1 Solar panels are covered by a manufacturer's warranty of at least 10 years, unless otherwise indicated.
5.2 Inverters and batteries are guaranteed for 5 to 15 years, depending on the product and manufacturer.
Manufacturer’s Warranty will be stated on the most up to date Product Data Sheet available from Renewpower when placing an order.
5.3 Renewpower is not liable for damage caused by external factors such as lightning strikes, vandalism or improper use of the products.
5.4 If a product fails within the warranty period, Renewpower will provide a repair or replacement according to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
5.5 Renewpower is not liable for missed energy yield in the event of a defect or malfunction.
6. Right of withdrawal
6.1 The costs for return shipping are borne by the customer, unless Renewpower has made a mistake in the delivery.
6.2 Custom-made products and specially ordered battery systems are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
7. Force majeure
7.1 Renewpower is not liable for delays or damages due to force majeure, including strikes, natural disasters, transportation problems,
or changes in laws and regulations.
8. Applicable law and disputes
8.1 All agreements between Renewpower and the customer are governed by Irish law.
8.2 Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Ireland.
